Reading the output
The termination probability is not a prediction of victory or defeat — it estimates when observable structural factors (funding, deployment, political will) reach a configuration historically associated with conflict cessation. A 65% probability at 18 months means that in past conflicts with similar troop, funding, and legislative profiles, roughly two-thirds ended within that window.
The three factor scores (troop trend, funding trend, consensus) show which input is pulling hardest toward termination. A troop factor below 1.0 accelerates the timeline; above 1.5 extends it. Funding and consensus work the same way. When all three factors are below 1.0, the conflict is in a structural wind-down regardless of what any single actor says.
